Account

How do I create an account?

To create an online account, click the Register link at the top right of the site. Enter your email address, password, and billing address, and click the Register button.

 

I forgot my password. What should I do?

Go to the Login page and click Forgot your password? Enter your email address and click Submit. You will receive an email with instructions on resetting your password.

 

How do I change my address or contact information?

To change your address and other account details, first Login to your account by clicking the Login link in the top right of the site. Once you are logged in, click the Your Account link in the top right of the site. On this page, you can change your address and contact information and view your past orders. Be sure to click the Save button after making changes.

 

Ordering

How do I place an order?

There are several ways to place an order:

  1. Online - Place an order through our website either by credit card or with a purchase order. Please note, purchased orders may only be used by customers who have established Net30 terms.
  2. Phone - To place an order by phone, please call us at 781-686-1631. We are open 8:30am-5:00pm EST.
  3. Purchase Order (PO) - POs can be sent to [email protected]. Please note to place an order by PO, your institute must have Net 30 terms with us.

 

I received a quotation. How do I place an order for this quote?

To place an order for a quote for a custom product, please call us at 781-686-1631. You can place an order from a quotation on our website for standard products and list your quotation number in the comments.  We will adjust pricing as necessary.

 

Will I receive an order confirmation?

Yes, a team member at Boca Scientific will send you an order confirmation after you place your order. This will include the Sales Order, Sales Order Number, and lead time. If your order is placed after 5:00pm EST, we will send your order confirmation email the following business day.

You will also receive a confirmation email the day your order ships. This will include your invoice and the tracking number for the shipment.

 

How do I track my order?

The day your order ships, we will send you a shipping confirmation email with the shipment’s FedEx or UPS tracking number. You can track the shipment on the FedEx or UPS website.

 

How do I change or cancel my order?

Please call us at 781-686-1631 if you would like to change or cancel your order.  Please note for confirmed orders for perishable or custom-made products, or large volume orders, it will not be possible to cancel a confirmed in-process order.

 

Billing

What payment methods do you accept?

For online orders, we accept payment by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express) or with a Purchase Order (PO). On the Checkout page, a field is available for entering the PO number generated by your institute. Please note to place an order by PO, your institute must have Net 30 terms established with us.

For orders not placed through our website, payment can also be made by check, wire, or ACH.

 

Can I pay by Purchase Order?

To pay by Purchase Order, your institute must have Net 30 terms with us.

 

How do I set up an account with Net 30 terms?

We will need to complete a credit check for your company to set up an account with Net 30 terms. If you would like to apply for Net 30 terms, please contact us and we will email you the credit application. The application requires three professional references.

 

When will my credit card be charged for the order?

We will charge your credit card the same day the order ships.

 

I would like a copy of my invoice. How do I get this?

Invoices are emailed to the contact listed on the order the day the order ships. Please contact us to request a copy of your invoice.

 

Shipping

How much is the shipping cost?

The shipping cost is calculated based on the shipping location and shipping method. We always verify the shipping cost after an order is placed. If the cost is less, your card will be charged the lower amount. After ordering, you will receive an order confirmation email from a team member at Boca Scientific with the final shipping cost on the Sales Order.

 

What countries do you ship to?

We ship primarily within the US and Canada. Ordering on our website can only be completed for orders shipping to the US and Canada. Please contact us regarding inquiries for orders shipping to other countries.

 

Can I ship my order on my FedEx or UPS account?

Yes, you may provide your FedEx or UPS account number on the Checkout page. Please note a $10 handling fee will apply.

 

Why are only certain shipping methods available when I check out?

Many of our products are temperature sensitive and require overnight or 2-day shipping in order not to spoil. If your order includes a product that requires cold storage, standard shipping will not be available as a shipping method.

 

When will my order ship?

You will receive a confirmation email after your order is placed with the lead time. If the product is in stock and we receive the order before 2:30pm EST, we will ship the order the same day. If the product requires overnight shipping and the order is placed on a Friday, we will ship the order the following Monday so that it does not sit over the weekend.

 

Returns

How do I return my order?

If you would like to return your order, please call us at 781-686-1631. Please note our return policy listed below:

Unauthorized returns are not accepted. A 20% restocking charge is applied to returns on correctly filled orders. If there has been a shipping error on our part, no restocking fee will be applied. Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase. Return transportation must be borne by the customer unless there is an error on our part. Please note, perishable and special ordered items as well as large volume orders are nonrefundable and not eligible for return. If you would like to return an item, please contact Customer Service at Boca Scientific.

 

There was a problem with my shipment. I received the wrong product or quantity, or an item is missing.

If an error was made on our part, we will replace the item and pay the return shipping cost. A restocking fee will not apply.
