Handmade dolls clothes
Michelle’s mum taught her to sew so long ago that she doesn’t know how young she was when she first started!! Since then she has always pulled out either her own sewing machine or her mums to make or mend things.
Since becoming a stay at home mum, Michelle has been sewing a lot more. She had a growing interest in the things she sewed, including interest from the cutest little toy shop in Elwood, Victoria (Australia). So she began sewing for them AND she started to also sell directly from her own website.
Michelle makes and designs all the doll outfits with the help of her Mum. Her mum is a big part of the design and pattern making process. She has an unrivaled attention to detail and perfection standards.
Their dolls clothes have been trialed and trialed again until both Michelle and her Mum are both super happy with the fit and style.
“We only make for dolls we own so we can try the outfits on and ensure everything fits as it should.”
Michelle and her Mum search for the best and cutest fabric they can find.
They believe the fabric is just as pivotal as the design of any garment so they we never skimp on fabric.
“We use mostly high quality cotton and cotton lawn. Sometimes we use blends of wool or bamboo.”
