The COVID-19 Real-time RT-PCR Kit is designed to diagnose the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) by qualitatively detecting RdRP genes, E genes and N genes of the new coronavirus (2019-nCoV) in a sample. 

This kit functions using a probe method in real-time RT-PCR. The virus is detected through the reaction of a specific primer and a fluorescent probe in the sample. This kit detects the RdRp and E genes, both of which are markers for detecting new coronaviruses. The N gene, used as a standard for testing in the US CDC, and RNaseP gene are also detected to validate all test reactions. 

This product uses a convenient premix format for increased speed and accuracy. With a quantitative aliquot of a reagent, primer and probe already in the tubes, the user only needs to add template RNA. A master mix format is also available. 48 tests are included.
