Candor ELISA Sampler Package 1 COVID-19

This sampler package contains all the reagents you need for ELISA for COVID-19 assay development, complete with blockers, stabilizers and optimizers. These reagents will greatly improve the accuracy of your assay and significantly reduce false positives and false negatives.

125ml of each reagent is included:

• PlateBlock™ is an animal and protein-free blocker specifically designed for serological assays (antigen-down assays) on plastic surfaces. It successfully reduces false positives and improves the assay reliability. 

• LowCross-Buffer® is an innovative assay buffer that greatly improves the quality of detection by reducing immunoassay interference. Non-specific binding of the antibodies, negative effects of interfering substances, and low or medium affinity cross-reactivities of the antibodies are significantly decreased. 

• Liquid Plate Sealer® is a stabilizer for coated antibodies and antigens on polystyrene or glass surfaces. Plates treated with Liquid Plate Sealer® can be stored for long periods after drying.

• LowCross® HRP-Stab combines the advantages of LowCross-Buffer® and HRP-Protector™ for long-term storage of HRP conjugates and for reducing immunoassay interference. The result is an assay diluent and storage buffer for peroxidase conjugates all in one solution.

• Washing Buffer (10x concentrate) is used in immunoassays to remove interfering unbound and excessive components. The version included in this package is based on TRIS, but it is also available based on PBS and without tween for IHC.

• Coating Buffer (pH 7.4) is designed for adsorptive immobilization of proteins and antibodies on plastic surfaces, such as microtiter plates, or other protein binding surfaces. The pH 7.4 version is based on PBS. 

In an article discussing the the technical requirements for producing a reliable antibody detection assay, Candor Bioscience has provided a suggested protocol for an ideal serological ELISA using these reagents:

1. Coating of the capture molecule.
2. Aspiration of the plate (do not wash).
3. Blocking with PlateBlock™.
4. Stabilization with Liquid Plate Sealer®.
5. Aspiration of the plate (do not wash), dry and store.
6. Dilution of the patient sample (1:10 to 1:50) in LowCross-Buffer® and incubation.
7. After washing, incubation with detector conjugate stored in Low-Cross® HRP-Stab (or HRP-Protector™).
8. Detection after washing.
